We are pleased to announce that the AdvertServe Q4/2014 update has been deployed!
Stay tuned to our blog for the next few days as we’ll be releasing new tutorials
on here as fast as we can write them to get you up to speed with the new features.
Advertisers are always interested in getting more creative space to deliver
their message and expandable banners certainly deliver on that aspect. You
can easily configure banners to expand in any direction (up, down, left or right)
and it is also possible to have banners expand automatically when the page loads.
An interesting example would be a 970×90 banner that automatically expands down
to a 970×250 banner and closes after 15 seconds. But wait, that’s not it because
our expandable banner also supports touch so it can work on tablets and mobile phones
with full responsive support.
Filtering Media Assignments
When creating a banner campaign, it is now possible to filter the list of
possible media assignments by size. This makes it easier to find that 728×90
banner you are looking for, especially when combined with the pre-existing
search by name. Long time users will appreciate this being similar to how
one-size-only campaigns used to work since they intuitively filtered the list
of banners based on the campaign size. This essentially gives you back that
Smarter Code Wizard
We like giving you lots of options, but our code wizard was starting to look
like the cockpit of a space shuttle. To make it easier to navigate, we are
now collapsing the descriptions and sub-options unless you specifically
check a given option. This results in less time to find options, less time
spent scrolling and it’s also easier to see which options you have enabled.
S2S Pixel: ClickID Support
Our S2S action tracking pixel now has the capability to integrate with tracking
systems that use ClickID to associate banner clicks with post-click actions.
This is a very accurate server-side method that helps to reduce discrepancies
in a big way. You will really love this feature if you do any promotion of
mobile apps. Tracking systems such as AppsFlyer can be integrated into your
advertisers apps to track installs and then further integrated with their
banners serving through AdvertServe to give you better insight to optimize results.
We’d love to hear from you. Seriously, don’t hesitate to contact support
if you have questions about any of the new features and improvements.
